Who should make the decision? -- Parents or other adult relatives should make important decisions for their teenaged children (15-18 year old)

When we are teenaged children in Taiwan，parents like to make some important decisions without asking our opinions。They parents always think that they can make better decisions for us。All chinese parents like to make decisions。

But I think that we children should learn to rely on ourselves in order to live in a society in the future。Because our parents won't accompany us all the time。We must choose the way which we will go in the future by ourselves。Because we must be responsible for our life。If we choose the way，we should achieve it without looking back。

No one can succeed in the future if one relies entirely on his or her parents but dose not make any efforts oneself。Maybe we can listen someone's opinions but I think that we must make decisions by ourselves in the end。

A company is going to give some money either to support the arts or to protect the environment。Which do you think the company should choose?

In my opinion，I think that the company should protect the environment by supporting some money。

While the development of science and technology has made our life so much easier and better，pollution is becoming a serious problem。Many of the world's rivers and lakes are polluted。Even the air enveloping our earth is polluted。In many areas pollution is causing cancer and other incurable diseases。

The United Nations and many other world organization have been calling attention to the pollution problems，and many governments have made laws to control pollution。Take something for example，the iceberg of North Pole will vanish in the future according to the research recently。And polar bears will become extinct in the future，too。Something should indeed be done before the earth becomes unfit for human habitaion。

One skill to make your world? -- What is a very important skill a person should learn in order to be successful in the world today? Choose one skill and use specific reasons and examples to support your choice。

In my opinion，I think that one should learn to treasure the time in order to be successful in the world today。

Time is precious。We hear people say this so often that we no longer realize how true this saying is。If our life span is eighty years，we have only twenty years to study and work。O f the eighty years，twenty or one-third of them have to be spent on sleeping if we sleep eight hours each day out of the twenty-four hours。Another eight hours each day will have to go for shopping，playing games，eating，recreation and so on；and that means another twenty years。

Time is precious because the time allowed to a person is limited and time lost is never recovered。It is for this reason that we should make the most of every minute at our disposal。

Born to be successful? -- "When people succeed, it is because of hard work. Luck has nothing to do with success."

There is a proverb which goes，"No pains，no gains。"This means that no advantage would or should come to anybody who hasn's worked hard for it。

If we want to get or do something strongly enough，we can always find a way to get what we want。The road to success is seldom smooth。Only those who persevere in their efforts can get what they want。

Take some famous people for examples as follows。Dr.Sun Yat-sen was determined to overthrow the Ching dynasty in spite of the immense difficulties。He succeeded only after repeated failures。Ludwig Van Beethoven composed much of his immortal music after he became completely deaf。

But there are people who seek gains without pains，and they do so by harming others。If everybody acquires his or her gains by honest work，the world would be a much better place。

T0day has come to an end of 2006。I will take an exan of doctor's license in summer of 2007。I should work hard than before。In this way，I am convinced that I will succeed on that exam next year。Because the proverb gose，"No pains，no gains。"

The Origin Of The Christmas

Christmas is a traditional Western festival，an official public holiday in all Western countries；but it is now celebrated also in more and more Chinese homes。


Christmas is held on December 25 in honor of the birth of Christ。Long before this day，housewives begin preparing for the Christmas dinner and shopping for gifts for their families and friends。


The most important Christmas decoration is the Christmas tree，a real or manmade tree ornamented with candles，lights，and colored paper。Gifts for children are put in stockings hung by the fireplace or the beds。The Christmas dinner is held on Christmas eve。It begins with a prayer by the head of the family。Usually no friends are invited。

Kaohsiung City is my hometown in Taiwan.I has lived there for 19 years.Kaohsiung is a very beautiful city and there is a romantic "love river".We can walk on the bank of river comfortably in the night.Maybe we can buy a cup coffee and enjoy music there.I like there very much when I am depressed.I always can relax myself there.I am proud of my hometown,Kaohsiung.

Why art? -- Many people visit museums when they travel to new places. Why do you think people visit museums?

Many people like to visit museum when they travel to new places.We can know a review of one country's history by visiting her own museums.As an old saying goes,"In Rome, do as the Romans do."In this way,I am greatly convinced that we will get along well with foreigners.

There are many kinds of museums such as the art museum, the history museum, the museum of natural history,the museum of science and technology and etc.Many wonderful things are cared for in museums. There are paintings,potteries, sculptures, costumes, swords, ancient animal bones and plants, stuffed animals, antique steam locomotives, and many others.

Almost every country in the world has her own museums and Taiwan is no exception.Sometimes I spend my time looking, reading and enjoying the exhibits at the National Palace Museum located in Taipei.No cameras are allowed inside, but you can buy colored slides of the exhibits in the gift shop downstairs. There is a very large collection of beautiful jades. Also, there is an ancient bronze vessel exhibit. Some of the exhibits are changed regularly for special collections such as porcelain and silk paintings.

However,it's a pity that many museums are robbed during the war.For example,the palace museum of Beijing are robbed in the Qing Dynasty.Many valuable work of art had been lost then.We can know the historical background of the ancients by researching on those antiques.Therefore,every country should protect their museums from wars.

In conclusion,museum is very important to us and we can understand art and culture of a country.On the other hand,we can learn some valuable experience from the ancients.Thus,this is the reason why we always visit museums when we travel to new places.

Early birds or late owls? -- Some people prefer to get up early in the morning and start the day's work. Others prefer to get up later in the day and work until late at night. Which do you prefer?

I prefer to get up later in the day and work until late at night。Maybe I always skip boring class in the day，and sleep in the morning。Sometimes I am convinced that I can learn much medical knowledge by studying alone。When I was a junior high school student，I studied myself during class without listening teacher’s words。And I can always get good grades by working hard myself。

Another reason is that I like the quiet of the night，and I can devote myself to studying and thinking many things。There is less traffic noise in the night，and I can relax my mind。Therefore，I think that studying in the night is more efficient than it in the day。That’s my major cause to do things in the night rather than in the day。

Sometimes I will spend my time looking down on the peaceful cityscape in the night from the highest floor of my apartment building。I can invite some good friends to drink alcohol there，and share some secrets in our mind。We can relax ourselves in the night with the star blinking through darkness。

In fact，I never recommend any person to work in the night。Because I think that it is harmful to health。Our immunity against virus or bacteria maybe decrease when we have bad habits。Doctors always recommend us to sleep before eleven o’clock and wake up early。Our liver will become sick without doing things mentioned above。

In the end，I will still study in the night although it’s harmful to my health。Because it is my favorite life style，and I would rather enjoy my life than live to the age of 100。The philosophy of life is that I only want to follow my desire of mind。

Computer

Computer is a very important invention in recent years.Thanks to computers,the world has become more convenient and more automated.Computer has reduced time spent standing in lines and commuting.Take an example,we even can pay our bills online without going to the bank.

Nowadays computers play an important role in our life,we can't live a life without them.Take we students for example,we can type report,play online games,listen to music,even watch TV on it.Therefore,almost every student in university has his own computer.Computer has become best friends in our life. I even can't image that what a poor life I will live when I lose my computer one day.It always companies with me in my life of school and I really take advantage of it to do many things.

At one time I studied in computer science department of NCU before I entered CSMU three years ago.For this reason,I know that computers can work by computer programs.Those professional program designer can use some software such as C++,Java and etc to design computer programs.Programs is the soul of a computer,it helps computer to handle complex calculation.We can live a comfortable life by combination of computer and computer programs.Without computer programs,computer is only a useless machine to us.

Taiwan is an advanced country on technology.We Taiwanese produce many peripheral computer products for many well-known industries in the world.Taiwan plays an important part in popularizing the computer.We produce many products such as video card,mother board,memorry ram and etc and computer is composed of them.By selling those computer products,Taiwan become a rich country.Therefore,some foreigners call Republic Of China(R.O.C) as Republic Of Computer.

In the end,I must say that computer really changes the world.And computers help human to live a better life.We should cherish this remarkable achievement without abusing it.Because computer is also designed as weapon to kill many harmless people.It is really a tragedy to abuse abilities of computers.We human should think twice to take advantage of computers.

My goal of this class
Although I got not bad grade in Joint College Entrance Exam.My English is very poor because I never practice it every day.I will study harder than before on this class.I hope that one day I can write a blogger without consulting a dictionary.I believe that I can achieve this small small small goal on this class finally.Because I consider that my English teacher is very nice and beautiful at the first sight.


My goal of life
I will be a kind doctor in the future without doubt by working hard in school.I must learn how to communicate and please my patients.So I have a part-time job that someone employs me to teach home education.In other words,I am a part-time tutor.I always play with my students and teach something important of life to them.In this way,I earn much money and I learn how to get along well with others.In my students' opinion, I am a successful teacher.Therefore,I will achieve my goal of being a kind and rich doctor step by step.
